Understanding Your Bill
You will receive a bill each month. Ocmulgee EMC issues bills in cycles each month. Your actual billing date will vary no more than one to two days during a month due to weekends and holidays. Should you not receive your bill near your normal billing date, please contact us, as we cannot be responsible for delays or misdirected mail by the postal service.
Your billing date is determined by where you live on our system. All billing cycles are arranged geographically to make meter-reading efforts as efficient as possible. The amount of your bill is determined by a monthly meter reading recorded by the cooperative's meter reader services.
You may pay your bill by mail, draft or come by our office. If full payment is not received by the PAST DUE DATE, a penalty will be applied and service may be disconnected without further notice.
