Report Power Outages

Ocmulgee EMC has someone available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to handle power outages. To reach the dispatcher on duty, please telephone (478) 374-7001 or (800) 342-5509. The telephone system at the office is designed to automatically transfer your call directly to the dispatcher.

If you receive a busy signal. Please be patient, wait a few minutes, and try the call again. The only numbers needed to report power outages are the numbers listed above. In the event of a major power outage covering a large area, we will have all of the incoming lines manned for your convenience; however, please remember that even with all the lines manned, you could still get a busy signal. Please try the call again later. It would help the person taking your call if you gave your name as it appears on your electric bill, and your account number. This number is located in the upper left hand corner of your electric bill. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
