The Ocmulgee EMC Foundation continues its commitment to supporting education and investing in the future of our communities by awarding scholarship checks to outstanding seniors at Bleckley County High School, Dodge County High School, and Hawkinsville High School.
Each year, the Foundation provides scholarships funded through Operation Round Up, a program in which Ocmulgee EMC members voluntarily round up their electric bills to the next dollar. Those small monthly contributions add up to make a meaningful difference for students across our service area.
Representatives from the Ocmulgee EMC Foundation visited each school to personally present the scholarship checks and congratulate the recipients. Students are selected based on academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and their commitment to pursuing higher education, by their school administrators.
The Foundation extends its appreciation to all Ocmulgee EMC members who participated in Operation Round Up. Your generosity directly impacts local students and strengthens the communities we serve.
